Revit 2023 hanging on loading model

Hi,

I have a project with multiple Revit 2023 models, for some reason all the models although only a few MBs in size take well over 10mins to load.

Having checked the journal files I am seeing that it is hanging longest at these parts, but not quite sure what its telling me. Weirdly, it seems, I am the only one getting this issue with the models. Other peoples computers seems fly through these parts of the journal with out no stalling.

Hi Thanks for your help with this.

So after quite abit of testing, i found the issue was to do with this line of the journal..

'209.314718 8:<<<Keynoting Settings -> readFile

It was hanging at this point for a very long time and realised that the model file I had was pointing to a keynote file which was being hosted somewhere on the internet on another companies domain. But that alone wasn't the issue. It was the fact that I way using a VPN and because the other companies domain was probably blocking me entry due the use of a VPN. After I disabled the VPN i found that it worked completely fine and didnt hang at this point.

Hope that helps anyone else who runs into this issue.

Hi @Hamel_BS - we may be running into this issue in R2022 (though not related to VPN). How did you determine the keynote file was hosted somewhere else?
