How to join two roofs

I'm using Revit 2023

See attached. Can anyone help me understand how to join these two roofs together? I tried using a model in place Void, but I couldn't get that to work and joining them would most likely look correct. Thanks!

Use Join Geometry. No need to use any void here.

One thing.. The shed roof needs to overlap the gable roof with a 6" eave..

Well then, drop the plate height of the lower roof (or vice versa). They aren't joined obviously.

What the heck was the solution here? I feel like I just got punked.

If the roofs are at different plate heights, there is no join to make.

Maybe I wandered into the Twilight Zone by mistake. Which way to the Revit Forum?

I think you misinterpreted the look of the joined roofs. The front slopes are on the same plane. See attached. Simply using the Join Geometry as suggested did the trick, but thank you for helping!!!

My mistake. I meant to say there is a 6" overlap on the back half of the shed roof over the gable roof... The first attachment I posted I thought showed that clearly, but I can understand how that could have been confusing.
