adding new Parameter Types to Label - no English option?

For example I am wanting to put a text only label on the sheet, there is no text category parameter on the list so clicking 'new' brings up the parameter properties but in 'select everything is in different languages - where is a simple text parameter and why are the parameter group list in a different language?

thoughts?

Go Manage > Shared parameters > point to a different shared parameter file or create a new one.
