You are trying to sort "Sheets" in the Project Browser using a Parameter added to a title block Family.

Placing a title block instance on a sheet does not make the sheet inherit the parameters of the title block.

You could create a project sheet parameter and sort by that, but it would require a dynamo or API programmed function (or doing it manually) to coordinate the sheet parameter with the title block parameter.

-G

We have added a series of shared parameters to our title blocks where 4 of those parameters are a yes/no parameter with the 5th parameter (option) as an integer. All of these parameters are instance parameter.

We would then like to segregate the status of those drawings in the project browser. However, we are unable to get the browser to separate the sheets by any of those parameters. The closes thing we have got is by creating a shared instance text parameter where we can manually type the status. Is there any way to link the text parameter to option parameter or any of the option values?

It would be simpler to have one parameter, only (that applies to Sheets), such as "Purpose" (or "Description" , "Status"), and then have the users choose from Approval, As built, Construction, Information. As long as this is typed once, Revit will show a drop-down list the next time, with all the options. After that, you go to Browser Organization, and create a new organization where sheets are organized by "Purpose". Then, the project browser will show the sheets in subfolders such as Approval, As built, etc.
