      <title>Shadow Study on Topography</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Hi all,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;We have been trying to create shadow studies against existing topography, but we end up with these huge chunks of shadow cast by the topography itself shown here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="2002jef_0-1740457134223.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1470645iF127001A948571FC/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="2002jef_0-1740457134223.png" alt="2002jef_0-1740457134223.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is there some way to make the shadow of the topography less visible? Or more accurate? We know we can simply cast the shadows onto a ground plane, but ideally we would like to cast it onto topography to get more accurate results on a sloping site.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
