Hi can anyone give me advice on how i would model this facade element.

Its a thin epoxy and fibreglass shell that's hung on steel frame.

A sweep with a void.

Just one approach, there are probably dozen more.

See attached "Sweep".

You can then use it as a curtain wall panel and create the entire facade like that.

See attached "CurtainWall".

Another approach would be making it as an adaptive component and use divided surfaces in massing environment, which is a little more involved to make, and explain.

I was wondering if there is a way to make it a thin shell instead of a full solid form, i need to place structural frame on the inside?

In short:

- start with an "Curtain Panel Pattern Based"

- create a curtain panel family

- start a mass, create the surface, divide the surface, apply the new curtain panel.

- import into your project.

End up with something like this.

Like I said, not an easy thing to explain. Here's this example if you want to dig into it, but without knowing the principles it's probably not much help.

Oh, and there is a real possibility I'm massively over-complicating this. You could also go with the first approach of regular curtain panel and wall, and jsut add several more void forms in panel family to create the shell.

Sure, but 1/32" is the minimum thickness.
