hello i'm new to revit and trying to make sheet metal roof tile using curtain panel pattern based. it appears when i'm applying my roof tile to mass there are these hidden lines like this

and when i go back to edit the family and set it to wireframe viewmode it appears there is no hidden line in my family template

how do i solve this problem

thanks in advance 🙏

If you change to other graphic display (IE: hidden line, shaded, consistent), does the line show up? Also is the panel family embedded into adaptive panel or not?

Get in the habit of flexing your custom-built families to see if they break. In this case, I changed the horizontal and vertical spacing and immediately found the problem. Nothing is constrained properly!

I would suggest putting this family aside and researching how to build a pattern-based curtain panel. Goggle it.

Here's a video I found:

Revit Families Series Custom Curtain Panel Pattern Based How To - Bing video
