      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have parameter "current revision" that look like this- "for aproval-1" or "work in progress-12"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I want to use the same parameter for Design Phase BUT I need that label to be without the "-12"&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you all know if I can use opperation like LEFT in excel for text in the calculated value?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;or any ideas that can delete the hyphen and the number?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;No.&amp;nbsp; You would need to use Dynamo to extract a partial value of a string and write it to another parameter.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
