Window Parameters revert back even after saving the change + Error Message

Window parameters do not change - I have to enter them multiple times - usually one at a time and save each one (even this doesn't work all the time). This is for any of the parameters - width, height, inset etc. It is causing huge issues. If I miss one that hasn't changed - my drawing is wrong; and it is adding extra time and work.

I also get an error every time I change anything, rename, parameter change etc...!

Warning
An error occurred in family "Window name" and was automatically resolved... etc.
Error Information:
"Line is too short"
This happens everytime I change anything with any Window...!

I am using Revit LT 2026.

Also, I cannot find the Revit LT UK content Library - It is not in the Library Tab under Product Updates.

I emailed Autodesk 4 weeks ago tomorrow and have not heard back. I sent a chaser email last week and have not heard back.

A parameter somewhere has been set in a way that is breaking the family.

Are you using an OOTB window family? Or did you or someone else create it? Can you attach it here?

Hi there - thanks for your help.

I am using an OOTB family. It happens with all OOTB Windows but not with others I've downloaded or created.

I've downloaded a Single Plain Window.

There doesn't appear to be anything inherently wrong with it. It does have a lot of parameters for some moderately detailed elements, which can lead to warnings like the lines being too short.

It'd probably be useful to open the family in the editor and modify parameters in isolation to see what all they effect, and try to figure out what elements are becoming too short.

This window is one of the Revit Family Windows which came in the Autodesk Content Library. It is happening with all of them. I've reloaded Revit from scratch and it still is happening.It is also happening on other PCs' in seperate locations - all with their own seperate downloads. This is why I believed it to be a general issued rather than one specific to myself.

Here are images of what I'm getting when I tried to 'Edit Family'

And, I cannot find the Revit UK Content Library to reload the families afresh.

Go to Insert-> Load Autodesk Family

I may have found a culprit, but again, I have no idea what you're doing on your end. How thick is the wall you're trying to place in? I get an error when I load it into a wall that's less than 6" thick because the sill automatically adjusts to the thickness of the wall. If the walls too thin, there's not enough room for the sill as its modeled, which kicks back a bunch of the "invalid sketch" errors.

Normally the walls are 400mm thick and it happens.

Today they are 300mm thick.
