topic Nested Components Flip Direction on Divided Path in Adaptive Family in Revit Architecture Forum

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to create an adaptive family of an arched furniture façade with slats.

I made two curves with control points driven by distance parameters between them. Then I used Divide Path based on these curves and inserted a Slat (Nested Adaptive Family) from the point on the first curve to the point on the second curve. After that, I applied Repeat.

As a result, the slats flip their direction by 180 degrees relative to the curve.

When I did the same operation along a spline curve, everything worked perfectly. However, I need exact parameters for the façade radius, and a spline doesn’t provide that precision.

How can I prevent the slats from flipping direction as they go through the points?

Image 1: Slats along the parametric curve
Image 2: Slats along the spline curve
