keynoting reveals

I placed a 3/4" reveal into my concrete wall type and wanted to add a keynote to my schedule for this. What I can't seem to do is actually select the reveal in elevation and tag it with a keynote. its possiible set a key note in the actually family properties under the project browser, but not under the reveal itself.

has anyone tried to key note a reveal in elevation?

I believe the short answer is no. The reveal is part of the wall, so tagging it with a keynote is just like tagging the wall. However, if you look at the attached file you will see that I created an inverted sweep and reveal to work together. This way you can tag the sweep and give the impression that you are tagging the reveal! If you want you can set the same material and have the same keynote.

Its a pretty good solution that will work for adding keynotes. I have to re-evaluate the keynote situation and if they are better off being notes verse key notes.
