Window display on floor plan

So I placed a some windows in a 2 storey model, and they happen to be the same window in both floors. For some reason, the window is displayed differently in each floor. On the first/ground floor (1-F) you can see the cut in the wall, glass, and the frame; but on the second floor (2-F) you can almost see the cut in the wall, but the glass and frame are not visible. I already looked at the view ranges and they are the same, and both views have the same view template, but I do not know why this happens.

Hi,

Are both windows at the same height from the level? You could check your View Range in the family.

Both windows are at the same height in reference to their levels. Also i didn't modify the family's view range on the first floor, so do I really need to check it now for the second floor? Wouldn't that change de view range for that family on all floor plans?

If they are at same height relative to the level then it must be something else. Can you share the model or atleast a part of it to check?

Do you have view templates set for the floor plans? Are the plans both set to the same phase and view filter?

Is there a plan region hidden in the view at that area?

If you place another window on a different wall elsewhere does it also appear incorrectly?

Sounds like you have a model line or something inside the family that is far away from the family elements. Did you use the ol' invisible model line trick in this family?

yes, both plans have the same view template. yes, they are both in the same phase and filter. no, ther is no plan region hidden there. yes, if i put the same window family (regardless of the type) elsewhere on the second floor, it displays the same. However i found out its only with some of the window families in the project, i used a couple of other families and it worked fine, and it only happens in the second floor, for some reason.

not at all, i honestly dont use invisible line tricks on floor plans, only elevations.

Isn't the problem that windows on the level above are showing up on the level below? If so, the cut plane is intersecting with the family.

You sure it ain't an underlay?

Remove everything from the file except for the wall, the 2 windows, and the 2 floor plans. Check if the issue is still there, and if so, upload that model.

BTW, you stripped it down way, way too much. I had to recreate the Level named PLANTA 1er PISO ARQUITECTÓNICO.

Turn On Detail Items and set the view to Medium, or set Detail items category to Medium.
