Thanks - I thought about doing the first option. Unfortunately I didn't really want to do every wall twice but it looks like I don't have any other options. I was hoping it was just a function of the wall instance that I was overlooking. Thanks again.

Regards Peter.

one end of a wall wrap?

Is there any way to wrap only one end of a wall? It is fine if I have another wall to join the other end but I have a lot of walls that terminate at curtain wall for instance, which obviously would not have a wrapped end there. Masked region is not an option. This mostly is on 1:100 floor plans with a ton of wall patitions. Thanks.

Regards Peter.

It is not possible through wall definitions.

Depending on your project. Maybe you can consider to (automatically) embed your curtain walls in the wall?

The curtain wall is the exterior facade of the building. I have a lot of partition walls that butt (perpendicular) into the CW. One end is a free end, which I would like to show a wrap of the drywall, the other end terminates at the CW, at a spandrell panel, which I do not want to show a wrap. Thanks.

Regards Peter.

Ok, some possible other solutions.

-Create similar walls, one with end wrap other without. (Left in screenshot)

-Use wall without end wrap. Create another wall of only plaster layer and place that end of walls were needed (Right in screenshot)

-Use wall without end wrap. Use a (e.g generic face based) family to be used as plaster element.

Hello, has there been any solutions to this in 2023? interior drywall partition with only one free end that needs to be wrapped with drywall.

Thanks,

Besides, cut profile, additional wall family, etc. Even cut profile leaves one join line that you have to hide.

Thanks
