That message should mean that there is a pending update to Windows, and that you need to complete the update. Rebooting the computer should do that; I have no experience with Windows 10, so I may be wrong about that.

Once all pending updates are complete, you should be able to begin the Revit installation again. Are you saying that you tried to install, got the message shown, rebooted the computer and then tried to install Revit again, only to get that same message? And then repeated the reboot/install Revit three more times, getting that message each time?

If so, then the pending update is not getting completed or you have a large number of updates, each of which requires the previous one to be completed before the next can begin, or there is something else wrong, and it is tripping this error message. Perhaps someone with Windows 10 experience can offer some additional insight.

I cannot install AutoDesk Revit on my laptop I have tried about 5 times now and I am unsure what I am doing wrong. I follow the on screen instructuons and then it says the computer needs to be resatrted to continue installing but when the computer turns back on nothing has happened.

You may also have better success if you download the installation files from the Autodesk's Virtual Agent and then run the install, rather than using one of the download/install options offered on the Autodesk Account pages.
