      <description>&lt;P&gt;i am very new to this program&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ihave searched and experimented but i cannot create a veiw of a stud framed wall&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i see there are extensions for this&amp;nbsp;in older versions&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;do i need to use 2015 for example instead of 2016&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You either get an Add-in (There is a nice one from ClarkDietrich BIM&amp;nbsp;and StrucSOFT)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;OR&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can model it yourself using Curtain Wallwith two liners (basic walls consisting of gypsum liner)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;To add openings/inserts (doors and windows) you have to join geometry and insert a Wall Opening (Architectural&amp;gt;Opening&amp;gt;Wall Opening) identical to the door/window opening&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can create a screencast of the Revit custom modeled one if you need help with it&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Thank you&lt;BR /&gt;Yes I have tried this method also but there is a track showing in the wall that would receive a window. Also I have not been able to change the shape of the wall to be pitched on the top&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sent from Mail for Windows 10</description>
