Actually, I wanted to make something like a hat on the roof with the component tool, but it doesn't work, the sweep tool doesn't create it.You can see it is working around the window so sweeple it has occurred

You can see it is working around the window so sweeple it has occurred

You can see it is working around the window so sweeple it has occurred

The reason it works on the window because it is coplanar and your roof is not.

Why don't you use Roof / Fascia tool? A railing hosted by the roof also works.

You're right, but shouldn't this component work on the floor as well? I don't understand why the sweep isn't going smoothly; it seems like this should be easily resolved with a simple programming operation.

Keep in main a sweep profile is always perpendicular to the sweeping path so even if it works, you will end up with a roof edge that tilted, not plumb. That is why I suggested using fascia or railing. While fascia sounds like the right tool, I do think railing tool will give you a better result.

Actually, my goal was to hide the roof. Then, the aim was to solve the roof with hidden gutter systems. It will be more decorative with moldings. I will probably make it from sketchup and insert it as a family. Otherwise, the lines in Revit are intertwined and do not form.

Yes, maybe the railing will solve it, but I wanted to solve it with components, no problem, I will model it in sketchup and post it, maybe one day there will be a solution for this, Autodesk is the best company in the world.
