Material Library and Rendering Features not installed

I have Revit 2017 student version installed on my computer. When I was installing Revit, it would freeze on installing material library and I had to cancel each time. I tried repairing, reinstalling and uninstalling content library and installing different versions of Revit but nothing works. When I open Revit, a screen pops up saying "Rendering features are currently disable. You must install the rendering library to use rendering features." Also, when I click on Manage then Material or when I want to specify material to any object Revit stops working, I get a message saying "Autodesk Revit has stopped working."

I have tried everything the past three months and all the solutions they had put online but nothing works. Please help.

Hello @Anonymous,

I can imagine that you are not so very happy.

First of all, I do not know exactly what you already tried.

But I think you first need a clean install and have full access to your computer.

Turn off any virus scanner.
