      <title>Questions about Revit 2018 build</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;As we prepare to welcome Revit 2018, here is a question regarding processor requirements -&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;does Revit 2018 place any more demands on the video processor than 2017 did?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does it dabble in multi-core processors? Currently, we are using I7-7700K (4.5gig).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Would it be a case of 'same game different name' or should we organize ourselves differently?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;CPU type for minimum&amp;nbsp;entry level configuration would be :&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

I was under the impression that the base software does not take advantage of multi-core/thread processing but some of the other features, such as rendering, do. So it was best to try to get the highest clock speed possible and not worry too much about the number of cores.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
