Placing two 3D views above each other on sheet

Hi all,

I would like to place two 3D views above each other, the main difference between these views is that I show at one view everything that is modelled, and at the other view only the structure elements.

So, I did used the section box to show the left part from the first view and on the other the right side. But I notice now because off the crop region of the view with the structure elements the other view has become more vague due to the overlay as you can see in the attached image.

I know you can edit the crop region on plan views but on the 3D view I can use it only as rectangle and cannot follow the border of my section box.

Is there maybe something that I missed about this, or is there another better way to show two views above each other?

Are you placing the structural view above the other one?

Did you have background and ground plane turn off under visual style options?

The background is marked as 'none' at both views

I don't have such problem. See images below. make sure you turn off all categories except for structural.

I did it the same way with the categories. But I noticed something else now. If I change the visual style to shaded for example I don't have this problem anymore. In my file under realistic the option 'enable photographic exposure' automatic was marked. When I did unmarked this option the problem is also gone. But the global view is more darker now, I prefered it more with the photographic exposure but in that case you have that vague overlay.
