Revit Addons To Export & Import To Excel

We are running Revit 2015 but also have Revit 2016, 17 & 18.

Our office has our first project that requires COBie data. So I have been investigating various add-ons that export the project parameter data from the schedules in Revit directly to a Microsoft Excel file. We then amend the excel file or send it to the contractor/subcontractor to be amended. The amended excel file is then imported back into Revit to alter the Revit COBie data.

We have tried a few alternatives but are looking for one that ticks all the following boxes:

1) It works.
2) Gives the user the option to choose which Revit schedules can be exported.
3) It exports multiple schedules into a single excel file with each schedule on separate excel tabs.
4) Gives the user the option to choose which excel tab schedules can be imported into Revit.

So far we have tried the following:

a) BIMOne Excel/ Import: Import glitch causes geometric positions of random elements to move.
b) Avatar AutoExcel: Only exports one schedule at a time.
c) BIMiTs Export: Just doesn't work.
d) IMAGINiT: Overly complicated. Isn't able to use Revit schedules.
e) RevDev Studios RevEx: Only exports one schedule at a time.
f) Ideate Software BIMLink:Only exports one schedule at a time.
g) Autodesk DB Link: Overly complicated. Won't export Revit schedules.

I know I shouldn't complain being spoilt for choice to try all of these add-ons but none are really able to fit the desired need.

Does anyone have any others they use that ticks all of my boxes?

Thanks in advance.

I do not believe there is a product out there that will do everything in your list. However, here is another possibility....

Print schedules on sheets as pdf files

Use Bluebeam Revu to select schedules in PDF to export directly to Excel

Organize Excel data accordingly

With the build-up towards the use of COBie data across the AEC industry, it surprises me that such tools are not being developed. To date I have been fortunate in not having too many projects that require COBie data to pushed into and out of my models. But there is a growing desire for this from our Clients and as my boss continues to ignore my recommendation to charge our clients more for COBie it is coming down to me desperately find the easiest method of data transfer.

Edit * I appologize missed your last point for what the add in needs to do, i do not believe this program can IMPORT BACK into Revit. It may but I haven't tried.*

I believe this one should be mostly what you are looking for, I just did the exact same researching, this is the simplest add in I could find.

You just have to be careful when naming schedules that you do not use any "/" "\" in your schedule names. If the schedule name contains forward or backward slashes it wont work. (and the error message is in spanish so its not much help)

https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=1482813444471831731&appLang=en&os=Win64

In my office we wanted all the information on one tab yet as well so the best soloution i've found is an add in for Excel from KUtools, it add 2 tabs to Excel, 1 is labeled Kutools and the second is Enterprise, there's a combine button on the enterprise tab that does all the work for you and its super simple to use.

https://www.extendoffice.com/product/kutools-for-excel.html
