Disappearing Revit work when we synchronize

Hello

Today I watched my work disappear when I synchronized. There was no one else working in the file. My coworker was working on a completely different project. When I noticed my work go away; I asked her if she had any problems. When she checked most of her work was gone too.

OK Autodesk. Who can I send these Journal files to so we can figure out what is happening?

I really doubt it was lost. Maybe not synced with central, but saved to local instead.

@Anonymous hello, you can check other user who worked on that project if they are accidentally uncheck "visible in all views" your name form worksets and see if helps. thanks

@Anonymous hello, That's been strange? You can try to repair your Revit program or uninstall and reinstall again if still the same issue with file disappearing, then you need to create new local from your central file. Thanks

Your journal indicates two errors -

1) Revit can't keep elements joined

2) Element is too small on screen

Revit has strong limitations when trying to create elements on a very small scale.

Also please check for updates for your graphics card driver HERE

Can you send us your model to investigate further?

As of yesterday the folks there at Autodesk say that this is a glitch that has been seen before. The solution that they offer is to only open any Revit files by browsing to the file and opening it from there. Never open a shared file from the icon that shows up on the Revit Opening View. They said that the local file is not properly saving at the end of the day. So when we reopened from that local file it was overwriting the central file during the initial open process.

End solution is to always open the long way. Or give ourselves a link in the places to save some browsing.
