I am not clear exactly what behavior you are looking for on the footing? Can you add some additional information so i can understand what the goal is.

Don't LT have Wall Footing tool?

You can build another fatter and shorter wall below the interior wall, or simply copy paste aligned to the foundation level, change wall type and height. You can even build a stacked wall with the footing built-in.

You can create a reveal with triangular profile to chamfer off the bottom of the wall footing. Or create a sweep with the profile of the footing and draw it along the bottom of the interior walls.

The snapping behavior would follow the wall footing. If you select the wall footing tool from the Structure tab of the ribbon a wall foundation family will be placed at the lowest edge of the wall and snap to it.

As for the shape, a foundation is a system family and is rectangular in shape. there is no way to alter that. You would need to either use voids to cut the foundation or make a loadable family to be used as a wall foundation.
