Revit 2024.2 Project - Reload linked file causes fatal error

We have a Revit 2024.2 project file where reloading a link causes Revit to fatal error and crash. We can then open the project and all links (including the one that reloading caused it to crash) are loaded just fine.

The project is ACC hosted. The links are located on a local network drive and it happens with any linked Revit file, large or small. The host project has been audited etc. This just started happening a month or so ago.

Any ideas as to how to fix?

Thanks but a different issue. We can open the host file and all links are loaded and there is no issue. Only when the host file is open and we hit reload link (and it's any link, not one problem one) that there is a crash.

The work-around, of course, is to close the host file, replace the linked file in its folder and then open the host file again but this is pretty inconvenient.

Perform Audit on the problem-file?

Thanks, but as noted in my original post, the project has been audited. I have saved a detached version locally and it has the same issue.

As a test; export the problem-project with eTransmit and see what happens if you link the exported file.

I just recently ran into this (or a very similar) issue in Revit 2024. In my case, I am working on a project where we're using multiple models on the same project for a campus with multiple buildings. To facilitate set-up, I made model for one building with all the needed modifications to our template, uploaded it to Revit, and then downloaded it and modified it locally to match a second building on the campus. I uploaded it to the ACC site without issue, but when I tried to re-link the models from local files to the construction cloud, it crashed with the above error.

The work-around for me was to unload the file(s), reload from, and select the proper online model. I have since sync'd without issue. It also works for reloading local files -- just unload first, then reload, same as above.
