UPDATE

Hello,

I've managed to find the problem. It's related to the phases in Revit. Navisworks will show only the newest phase rendered, and all the previous phases greyed out. And, seeing as I introduced a phase in the copy, that's where the difference was coming from.

That raises another question:

How to set up the Navisworks to show all the Revit phases rendered, instead of only the newest one?

Thank you!

Hello,

I have a problem when importing a Revit model into Navisworks. I work with the 2016 version of both softwares. But I have had the same problem with the 2015 version as well.

I have imported a model and the rendering was fine. The materials of the walls showed up, the glass was transparent, everything was OK.

I had to do some changes to the model, but I didn't want to lose the original, so I've done a Save As of the Revit model, done my changes to the layout, I haven't changed ANY of the other settings, just the location of walls and components on the inside.

When I import the Save As copy, none of the materials show up. The building appears grey. The windows are not transparent.

I have attached a picture of the two copies of the model.

As you can see, one has all the renderings alright. The other one is grey.

I have no idea what went wrong at which stage.

I'd appreciate any help in the matter.

Thank you!
