    <description>&lt;P&gt;It's not possible.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The material's appearance in Realistic view is defined by the Appearance tab. Hence the name "Realistic View".&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The surface pattern (fill pattern) is only visible in Hidden Line and Shaded View (and maybe Consistent Colors as well, not sure).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you want a texture in Realistic view, you'll have to create a new appearance asset and set an image.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Visibility of Surface Pattern in realistic view</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have applied model surface pattern to wall.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The surface pattern is shown when visibility is in shaded or wireframe mode but the pattern visibility is off when kept in realistic view.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do i make settings so that i can see the pattern in realistic view?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PFA- Screenshot's of shaded and realistic views&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
