Import text AutoCAD Content Into Revit

I am trying to import specific information from Auto cad into Revit . Whether I use the link method or the import method I seem to only get the title block sheet. I need to get is done today so the faster you can respond to me the better. Please note I am not very skilled in Auto cad

It sounds like you are trying to link it directly to a sheet. Try linking it to a view and place that view on a sheet. (Avoid importing.)

Either way I only get the title block. I would prefer to import as this is
to be a standard sheet in Revit

In theory, that sounds good to beginners. It is not a best practice, especially for standard content that will be used in the future. Create it from scratch using the linked .dwg as a guide.

Where are you trying to do this, a sheet or a view? As I stated before, link it to a view that will be placed on a sheet. I use drafting views for this, but please follow my previous advice. You will be happier for it later.

No need to repeat yourself over and over again. I understand and think I know what is happening. You could try deleting all the layouts from the .dwg that you are linking.

I under stress sorry. I opened up a drafting view and got some information
imported not what I wanted though. I don't see any Import view tab or box
to check. I am in what I think the call paper space

You are going to have to be more specific and stop importing.

You're over-complicating it!

Just do it in Revit and get it over with.

Create a drafting view and add text. If you need more detailed response, you will need to ask your BIM manager or whoever is in charge of all things Revit.

Not skilled in AutoCAD or Revit, what kind of firm is this?!!!

Can anybody there run either of these programs?

What are using for resources and/or training?

I am very skilled in building new buildings in Revit . Never used Auto cad.
Never had to export information from Auto cad into Revit.

Thank you I will figure it out myself. I don't appreciate the attitude

Sorry, but I call them the way I see them. You never said that you were experienced. Any attitude that you are seeing is you inserting it. If someone doesn't know how to create a drafting view and add some annotation, I will always assume they are not experienced and have not had proper training. This is very basic stuff and there are plenty of resources for learning.

I tried to point you in the right direction more than once, but you refused to accept it.

@Anonymous: Is it just the AutoCAD text you're trying to capture and use in Revit? If so, just copy and paste to and from the clipboard, and format text to a TTF in Revit.
