It's not ideal, but it's one way. Unfortunately linking a linked file as a whole is still not available on 2018, hopefully next year!

Hi,

I have 35 links (35 separate family houses) in a main model. When selecting a link in the main model, it contains Identity Data in the Proporties Pallette: Address, Type and name.

I have a plan which shows the 35 links as an overview of the site. I would like to tag the 35 links with Address, type and name.

Any help?

Thanks

Make sure that the Identity Data is a shared parameter. Add those shared parameters to a Multicategory or Generic Tag.

FYI you can also schedule links in Revit 2018 - if that is helpful....

@stevie_kelly:

No, I need to know if it is possible to tag a link (and how).

Thanks

@Sahay_R

I cannot get this to work.

I have created a shared parameter and created the tag. I have added the shared parameter to RVT links using the Project Parameters option.

I can only tag elements within the link and not the link itself.

Thanks
