Hi fellas!

I wonder if it's somehow possible to create a void through a topography? (beneath the surface)
We need to create a hole for a tunnel.

Also, I noticed that Revit creates the depth when you cut it with a section box. Is it possible to create real surfaces in another way or how does it all work?

When I export the same topography to an IFC I get different results depending on the section box.

Try:

1. Using a Building Pad

2. Use Dynamo--a bit more complicated, but it works. See this: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/underground-modelling-within-revit-gary-fellows

How can you create a tunnel with the building pad tool?
2. Thanks for sharing this, looks neat. Couldn't find the Dynamo script though.

It's a combination of toposurface and a floor--

The floor can be made to match the shape of the toposurface.
