Display Brick/block in section

Is there a way to automatically display the Brick/Blocks Insulation when a section is generated. I know u can add it, with annotation.

"I am currently learning Revit "Lynda.com", I have used AutoCAD for over 20 years and I use about 90% from dynamic & Parametric block, Fields Lisps custom fields etc so I am not completely new to the inner working. Revit also shares a lot with Solidworks.

No, it's down to Repearting Detail Components and the Insulation tool

Thanks for your prompt replay.

I wonder would it be possible to get a program to do this. IE when setting up the wall construction have an extra option to assign the repeat annotation?

Not that I've seen.

I can appreciate your desire to automate the detailing as much as possible. But I;ve always found the use of a good library of Repeating Detail Components in your Template file to be pretty efficient- especially in the context of so may other things you will be doing in Revit.

I have CAD OCD so I have been Told LOL, This usually means I Don't give up, but in the long run usually quickens up the process of doing something. I am intending to start using REVIT to produce Building Control Drawing after my summer holidays, as I want it set up and ready to go by then.

I will probably get a Freelancer to make something to modify the Cut Pattern, Possibly have another Category, rename the existing Cut Pattern to "Cut Pattern Plan" and add "Cut Pattern Section". This will have an additional option to locate reference point for insertion so it will locate the hatch at the correct position.

Have you seen any Add-ons to model roof tile, Battens etc. as per attachments

Also would u know anyone that would be able to make the add-on
