Missing Reference Points when making Splines in Conceptual Mass in Revit 2018.2

Hi Revit Architecture Forum

I just installed the Revit 2018.2 - STUDENT VERSION

and I can't see any Reference Points in my splines.

I worked with splines in the conceptual mass family file.

Anyone knows or seen this problem?

This happends only on the student version. Not in standard version...

I know it's been awhile, but the first thought I had upon reading this today, was that the Reference Point category was probably just turned off (unchecked). Is that what it was?

Another issue is that my graphic card is not supporting the revit 2018 version.

Interesting. Obviously, I guessed wrong, because the category is turned on. The fact that the Graphics card is untested is not a surprise to me, but maybe your issue proves its incompatibility. Have you submitted this to Autodesk?

Yes that is Right.My Conclusion is that the Graphic card that the graphic card don't support the points in Revit version 2018...

What videocard do you use? I hardly believe it can cause missing reference points since I have never had a single certified videocard since using Revit.

The reason I asked is that the two screenshots don't look like coming from the same file so I suspected there maybe something else going on.

I Try too take the same file from the revit pro version on windows 10 + better video card and open it on my older window 7 pc , student version, and see if the points will show up. Nice troubleshooting by the way. Reply Friday.

No .. the Roints in the Spline disapear when I open the Revit 2018 PRO version in Revit 2018 STUDENT version...

What is happening ... cannot understand it... Visibility is turned on... hmmm

Is the student version up to date? It should be 2018.2. Not saying it will fix the issue but worth a try.

Well that might be the conclussion.

Though Autodesk explains that there should be no difference betwen PRO and STUDENT version!

Guess we need a Student Version user to clarify...

Well in Edit mode the points shows up now... I loaded the family-file into a project and voila I can see the points in edit profile mode only.

Though not when I press finish edit profile - like I following this tutorial.

I noticed in your screen capture that your visual style in the student screen is set to Realistic while in the commercial it's set to Hidden Line. Did you try switching your Visual Style?
