      <description>&lt;P&gt;further to the above article, once you unlock layers in a wall you can use the base or top extension parameters when you select a wall. To extend siding down, type a negative number in to the base extension box.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Once you have layers unlocked at the top or bottom, select ok and go back to you modelling. Select the wall and in the properties box, modify base extension or top extension, which ever you have unlocked.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;was wondering if I can bother again.i used that process to cover the floor joists. but when I use it to cover the roof joists and trim the wall to the roof . it gives this extra triangle piece over hanging the the outside wall. I attached a pic of the problem&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The only way to do that one is to not do the extension. unfortunately even if you change the profile of the wall the extension goes from the bottom of every different piece. So I would lower your wall and put a mask region over it in section views.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
