A void needs to intersect a solid in some way in order to cut it. A void cutting "nothing" is not allowed to exist. It is hard to tell exactly from the pictures, but it looks like in the picture where you have the error, the box void shape is just floating in space not touching anything. The other void where you say you are not getting the error looks like it DOES intersect the solid.

I dont't know why Am I getting this error.

The strange thing is that this error didn't pop up when I used the void mass before to make this object in the image below.

It may not be clear in the picture but it is intersecting a but I found out that turning the void into a solid and than turning it back into a void doesn't produce this error again.

But there is a different problem coming up if I make a model in curtain panel pattern based family and use it as a pattern for mass.

In the image below,if I use void mass to cut the tiles, the mass void just vanishes without doing anything.

But if I turn it into solid and use cut geometry tool to cut the tiles,it sometimes cut the tiles while for some tiles it would give this error.

And than there is also a problem where I can't get rid of the solid mass used to cut because I delete it or make it invisible, the tiles that have been cut would revert make to it's original shape.

I was having a similar problem, and what I had to do to get it working was select the void I wanted to use, then MAKE IT SOLID, then select it again, and MAKE IT A VOID.

Before trying this, I tried making a new sketch in a new mass - no success. Tried creating a new plane to sketch on, then make a new mass - nothing.

Hope this helps.

Update:

Frequently, when the void doesn't cut the solid, I just simply undo the last action after creating the void from the sketch, and then it works fine.

This method along with the other works consistently for me(now 18 hours into editing and creating solids and voids for a facade)

Hope this works for you.
