    <description>&lt;P&gt;this too much work to do and may cause error&lt;BR /&gt;you may forget slab or two and in project life you may add or remove slabs and col&lt;BR /&gt;you should repeat the job on them&lt;BR /&gt;but there is anther solution if you like the long way&lt;BR /&gt;edit each slab and draw bounty around the column so Revit can subtract this from&amp;nbsp;slab area and calculate the hole col&lt;BR /&gt;also you can draw shaft around the column , this also will do the job but may affect performance&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for Your time and considerations&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It worked with me But&amp;nbsp; When getting column attached to the slab, it calculates the length to he bottom elevation of the slab&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it a must to attach columns to slabs and footings !!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;no, don't attach them&lt;BR /&gt;create level for footing and level for last slab and link the columns to those levels&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I can use Switch Join Order to force Revit to calculate the full volume of column and the rest volume of slab&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any thing wrong in that !!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know It will take much time to repeat the order with each column.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
