Viewing Revit files without converting

Hai everybody,

Currently i have been working with the revit project but i want someone to take look at my model who doesn't have the revit software now..so can anyone please tell me is there any way to view the revit model in 3D without converting it into DWF. LIke a default viewer for revit models....Hope i will get some help.

Thanks for reply. is there any way to view the file offline?..like a true viewer for dwg...

Revit itself can be used as a viewer. When it is installed, it also has a Revit Viewer icon available. This will allow people to view Revit files without having a license. It is a fully functional version of Revit but, you cannot save, export or print from Revit Viewer Mode.

Welcome to the Autodesk community! I see that you are visiting as a new member.

You have the following options to view a Revit model without Revit:

Use the free online A360 Viewer
Download the free Design Review 2013 and export the Revit model as a DWF.
Use the Revit viewer mode. This is explained in the article: How to use Revit Viewer Mode
If you have Navisworks, you can open the Revit file in Navisworks, then save as an NWD file. That NWD file can then be viewed in the FreeNavisworks Freedom viewer.
If you are using A360 Team, you can invite others to the project and they can preview the 3D model there.
If you export the Revit 3D view to an AutoCAD DWG file (and likely best as ACIS solids), that file can be viewed in AutoCAD or AutoCAD 360
