      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your reply! I should have been more specific: I want to use an arc or a spline to divide the surface; unfortunately, adding an edge doesn't help in my case. Is there a way to split the surface like using intersects but the result would be two new surfaces?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;That's a cool effect that you are trying to create.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Another workaround is to use Repeat and divide curved panels in a curtain wall system for the facade.&lt;/P&gt;
