I suspected it's a bug that needs fixed. Too bad this project is too far along to upgrade.

The handrail at my spiral stair isn't showing in section. I can see the beginnings and ends, but it just shows a blank line where the railing should be. When I move the section to cut the railings, they appear. I am using Revit 2017.2.

I want the section from this view. When the section cuts the railing, the handrail shows correctly.

Hard to tell what I'm looking at. The railing looks strange in the first photo. I'd like to see a 3D view. But, my first thought was that it has something to do with the Far Clip extents.

The clipping extents are well beyond the railing.

You can overlay two views, one showing only the stair and railing and cut through the handrails a bit. or you can temporary swap the round profile of the handrail to a polygon shaped profile when print the section.
