I am new to revit. I want to create a unitized curtain wall panel with all screws, gaskets, sealants included in it and want to do drafting for that showing all parts in the part list and MOT for the project. Can I be able to do that, if so please suggest me the method.
Thank you.

Yes you probably can do that (if the elements are not too small). However the question is should you do that.

Revit is all about building design. If you start modelling all nuts and bolts than you will run into issues. Your families will be too detailed and Revit filesize will become huge and performance will be terrible.

If you need to do some scheduling you also could add relevant shared parameters to the family (e.g. qty_screws)

Which and how many parameters to add will depend on your workflow and requirements

You could use a detail drawings to show the details of your window.

So create an simple curtain wall panel for your project. Do some training on family creation (book, video course, classical). A good introduction to family creation can be found HERE.

Thank you for response,

I am able to create assembly and include all components in a curtain wall panel family in curtain wall panel template but not able to tag out all components in the family while detailing in project, in the part list also it is showing only the family name. Is their any way to give names to individual component in a family. so that in part list it shows all components.

Thank you.

You can nest other families inside a family. If you make those nested families shared they can be tagged an scheduled

If you have to show all the nuts and bolts and whatnots, make them only visible in Fine Detail level so that Coarse and Medium views don't get clutter with blotches. Make them as shared families before nesting them in the curtain panel family, give them unique Assembly Code or OmniClass number so that you can filter them in a schedule more easily.

But it's best to not actually modeling them. If you want them to appear in a schedule you can add parameters/formulas to the panel family and the results will be the same. If you want shop drawings, create Assembly from a Panel and add the finer detail components to the Assembly views.

You have to align and lock the left and right reference planes of the nested component to the left and right reference planes of the curtain panel family, same with top and bottom.
