@Anonymous: you can easily build it yourself using Basic Walls erected on the Basement Level that frame out the Egress Window Well, and then use Pick Wall method when you sketch the Building Pad and enter the negative offset for the Pad to drop it below the window sill. You can give your pad a thickness and material, such as Loose Gravel.

Don't forget to change the Ground Plane Level in Sun Settings so that the well will cast shadows.

p.s.

How would you model a basement escape window. I'm looking to do a shadow study. I can't figure how to create the "dip" in the toposurface.

Use the Building Pad tool.

....or lower the Toposurface's point elevations around the window.

If you want a flat landing with steps outside of the window then use a Building Pad. If you only need a natural dip then edit the topo surface or, better yet, create a subregion and lower the points around the window.

I wasn't suggesting using Building Pad for its Pad, but rather for its Topo infill.

If the basement window is below grade, it will likely require retaining walls to hold back the earth around the window. If it's an egress, I imagine this will be code enforced.
