Spot coordinates: Z-coordinate does not display sometimes

Hi! Got a problem with spot coordinates. Sometimes it works as expected. But sometimes the X and Y coordinates are fine but the Z coordinate shows up as "???".

What we've done is we've created some elevations that are angled. They're not orthogonal to the ground plane. We wanted elevations of faceted angled panels so it necessitated complex elevation views. The z-coordinates are not working in the angled elevations. But they're working on the orthogonal elevations.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I think if the surface is sloped in only ONE direction, then the Z coordinate will show up..

but any point which is placed on surface which is sloped in more than one direction then Revit

try not to commit to that point..

Similar situation is faced when you try to put a spot elevation on Topo surface in elevation or Section..

Thanks for the clarification. As a workaround, it seems like it works perfectly fine when you use spot coordinates in a 3D view so I have just set up a sheet that has a 3D view with coordinates and angled elevation views with dimensions and other annotations. Kinda weird, but works.
