change the look in the view on my floor

I can’t change the look in the view on my floor, the floor is set to be WOOD as in the photo

It is always color grey. In realistic or ray trace, or even rendering it keeps showing grey

What do I have to do?

… if the floor is always getting that grey halftone color

… it is usually – most probably that your floor is set to existing phase condition

… you need to change it to new construction phase to get the material showed

…. Could you upload your .rvt to take a look ?

… based on yor model

… yes. You have set the floor to an existing phase

… just change it

…. Click on the floor

… choose phasing

… phase created

… and change existing for new construction

…. Then click outside the model

… done

If the floor is existing and you want to show its material correctly, change the view's phase status to Show Complete.
