I don't know why but this problem occured on my project today too. Never happened before. Interesting.

I think i checked all the visibility options but i couldn't find any solution. I have 4 floors, In first 3 floors i can see the stairs. But in the 4th floor view i can't see any stair component except railings. As i said before i couldn't find anything to solve this problem so i decided to create stairs from begining.

Hope we can find a solution.

Regards.

Please help! My stairs are only visible in plan view, not in section or 3D views. Specifically, the treads and risers are not visible. I can see the railings in sections and 3D views. These were visible on Monday when I last printed my sections, but just gone now in non-plan views.

Process of elimination: Both are on same 'new construction' phase / Not hidden by the Visibility graphics, viewport settings or 'reveal hidden elements' bulb/ Hidden line view used.

Cant think of anything else. Help!

Make sure the Section cutting line is actually placed where it cuts thru the stairs/treads/risers.

Hei, I think i figured out this issue. It is only with L-shaped winder stairs (at least from my experience).

I also had the same issue and realized the second half of my stair dissappeared after i added a landing that connected the two runs. I'll post pictures of before and after adding the landing. (ignore the greyed out stair)

Hey all,

I don't know if anyone found solution yet. I had this issue just today and found that runners and risers were switched off in VG under stairs tab.

Hope this helps.

Hey all.

I just had the issue now myself with the stair showing in plan but nowhere else and it seemed to be the only for the winder stair.

Anyway I've been playing around with it and found that when you edit the stair. there is a tab in the properties which says "winder style" that needs to be "Single Point" and NOT "Balanced". Not sure what it means or what it's for but it worked. No my winder stair is showing in section & 3D.

Thanks for sharing! I had the same issue so I edited the stair and deleted the landing (which was created by sketching not automatic landing) then the stair reappeared. then I created the landing as a floor separately.

Just convert it to a sketch-based stair before you create the stair (this is specifically if your pre-cast concrete stair isn't showing in elevation or 3d views)
