      <title>Revit keeps splitting roof</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have drawn a roof for my building. revit keeps splitting the roof into 3 different pieces, I don't know why, i don't know if its because of the shape of the roof, any solutions ?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;What do&amp;nbsp;you mean it "splits"? Like into separate parts?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Impossible.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Sounds like&amp;nbsp;another element is&amp;nbsp;bisecting the roof.&amp;nbsp; Isolate the roof in view to verify. See if it reacts to Unjoin or Uncut.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;...Are there any Warnings associated with the roof.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;...Can you post the file?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;See attached.. the roof that I'm trying to create is just one unit it just has a bit of an awkward shape. notice how it is split into three pieces after creating it&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Ah, I see what you're talking about.&amp;nbsp; You need to adjust the offset from roof at slope side.&amp;nbsp; Probably easier to do as 4 separate roofs and align them in section and then join together.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;...actually just remove all the define slopes except the major one.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Split Roof.png" style="width: 999px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/555113i3C31DC6AE7EB5286/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="Split Roof.png" alt="Split Roof.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you! it worked, I removed all the slopes and left the slope which was at the longest part of the roof.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
