Linear dimension cannot place

Hi,

Cannot place linear dimension in horizontal and vertical between walls.

another all dimension can place in walls.

Are you sure they a parallel? they have to be in order to place the dimension line. Otherwise , try to place the dimension between one wall and a POINT on the other wall or use a Reference Plane parallel to the first wall.

Linear? Do you mean Aligned?

...Just Tab-Tab-Tab. It isn't plainly obvious when it snaps to a point, but it does. Takes a little finessing.

Yes, opening floor on Level 1. Linear Dimension cannot place the dimension between wall or wall centerline.

another aligned & angular dimension can place the dimension between wall on same floor

That's not the way Linear Dimensions work.

this was I doing, but I cannot pick point of linear dimension.

Are you clicking on an point? Or are you trying to annotate two lines?

Linear dimensioning works only at points, make sure you click on the red marked points:
