Create a custom line

Is there a way to create your own custom line pattern other than just editing the different line types that revit already provides. Its possible possible to create custom lines in cad but I'm not sure if it can be done in revit.

I'd like to create a line type like the one in the attached file...

No. But you could create this through a Detail Item Line-Based Family pulling an array.

...or use a Railing Family.

...or divided line with a repeater element.

You can use a repeating detail component or a line based detail family.
