Hello,

I have project of the building placed under the hill and I needto make openings in the toposurface (something like sketch below - sorry about the quality). Is there any option to make it without using 3dsmax? Can somebody help and suggest something? Thanks a lot.

It's like a cave, I know how to make horizontal modifications using pad but I've never made vertical openings in the toposurface.

I'm assuming its something like this your trying to achieve? This has been done with a building pad at the back (to create the cut) and a regular floor at the front (to create the overhang) this method will only work if its a surface structure if you've got more underground it might be a bit more difficult...

EDIT: Underground! the much more complicated way! 🙂

yeah the variable floor option seems to be a pretty good one too, certainly cleaner as its all one object that your cutting into.
