Unfortunately, none of this worked for me. On the Right side is the desired result and on the left is what actually is happening. You can see that the center lines of the blue and the green elements are joining in an unwanted way. The same - in the angle. There should be a tiny gap of 2 mm between the plasterboards but the elements keep joining in an unpredictable way. This is really bad for this project as all of the families are line based (event the C profiles as arrays), so there should be certain distances and the constraining is necessary. In the end, because of the joining, the whole geometry is breaking down.

Maybe model the geometry shorter than the line in your line based family.

Or ask Autodesk to remove the polygamic auto-joining under 32 mm between line based families. If I draw the reference line shorter I won`t be able to control the geometry precisely. If i draw the geometry shorter it won`t resolve the problem that it`s joining C profiles with plasterboards and there should be an additional instance parameter to say how exactly, which is time-consuming. What I did was to put all of the elements in different Work Planes and compensate the difference in heights with the offset. It worked, but it`s not elegant.

It has to be controllable because it's not only one stud wall, but 70 - all of them different with a restriction for the plasterboards to be cut as less as possible. I need a dynamic family that is interpolating the profiles for two layers of plasterboard ( with the size of 1250 ) and maximum size between the profiles of 625.

Mostly I need the U profiles line based family not to join with the C profiles line based array

I can see the Cs in your screenshot but where are the Us? Do you mean the floor tracks?

Anyhow, it looks like your family is quite accomplished with just a small hiccup. but if I were to do it myself, I would look into using an adaptive family with divided spline to have more control over the stud spacing without having too use arrays and formulas.

otra solución alternativa es crear una familia basada en linea pero sin ninguna geometría mas que una linea de modelo y forzar a que esta linea sea la que se una con nuestra famlia
