Diagonal riser not counting on a U-Shaped Stair

Hi, after drawing my u-shaped stair using model lines and draw it's boundaries i'm trying to add the risers but the risers on the diagonal are not counting up. What should i do to make it work ? Thank you.

Your screenshot shows only one riser ("1 riser created, 17 remaining"). It looks like you used Boundary Lines for all the others.

Looks like you have riser lines originating from the exact same spot. Separate them slightly so they don't touch.

Tried to change the angle of the winder model lines a little bit (got a warning message regarding inaccuracies) but even so it didn't work.

Are you sketching your stair path before closing out of edit mode? You need to.

Wow! how did you made that ? it didn't gave you any error message ? I was trying to build 2 stair different segments and then build the landers but i got nothing yet. Would be possible to made a little screencast showing how you did that ?

Actually, I did it exactly the way you did it in your video. What I did differently from what you showed in your video, was to place the contiguous stair path (using Stair path tool).

I can't see the entire sketch in the screenshot, but I do see what could be problematic. In this case, make all of your riser lines meet at the corner return. If this doesn't fix, the expand warning dialog box and screenshot what's shown.

I watched the first two seconds and see exactly what the problem is. Riser Lines aren't touching the Boundary Line. Make sure all do.

The problem related to the first winder is solved but i still can't find a way to draw the second winder in a way that it could touch the boundarie line without overlap as you can see here: https://autode.sk/2Sbh9pL

Draw one flight.. delete it.. and

REDRAW the entire Stairs from the scratch.

1. Boundaries

2. Risers

3. Stair Path..

Hello Ganesh, thank you for the answer the riser that you are doing on 0:32 of your screencast are also not counting up since it does have the same origin, this is the problem i have. I'm attaching the file in whicht i'm trying to do the stair i already remade all the model lines (they must at this exact place since it's just a project port from autocad to revit).

Could you try to replicate the process over those model lines design ? Thanks

Hello

This is a common 3d Model issue where " Monolithic Stairs " is not possible with winders originating

from one point... its just the 3D model geometry which is not possible in monolithic stair type...

but you can use other TYPE of stairs and achieve that..

You can make it count by adding a tiny boundary line to those steps.

What do you mean, @Corsten.Au? I can do a Monolithic Run with @renan.jose's stair design. I doubt it can get built as a mono in the real world, but I can build it as a mono in Revit.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your point.

Actually...Revit did do a pretty lousy job. I'd probably model it in place.

@barthbradley yes..its possible to model monolith stairs if its a brand new template ( 2019 )..

somehow in his revit file, it gives an error..

try it out...

I tried in Older revit version 2016.. Stairs winder gives an error when its more than one winder..

This is possible .This situation gives an error in Rvt 2016 ( but you are right, its possible in 2019 version without any hiccups )

I feel the " Monolith " stairs is updated from older version and probably that why givin similar issue like Revit 2016..
