Hi

I modeled an object using Fusion 360 and imported that file into Revit .. I cannot edit the elevations (like having curve strip glass ...) all what I can do is to apply walls on the imported mass.

Another issue is, I have an organic form, the interior walls do not match the outer envelope (organic)

Thank you for your support, my appreciation

You cannot edit the elevation of what? The Revit Walls applied by Face or the Mass created from the Fusion 360 file or the actual file that was Exported from Fusion 360 and imported into Revit?

Regarding question 2: are the walls facing the right direction? Even so, walls on an Organic Form can be imperfect.

I ment the applied walls .. in regular situation I can edit the profile of the wall but here I could not!

When I imported the object, the faces were already divided, can I adjust the number of divisions (faces) that I apply the walls to them? Because I do not want the whole face to be glass for example or to use a pattern ...

Regarding the interior walls, the issue is the walls and the ceiling are curved ..so the walls exceeded them .. not taking the shape ..

Are you applying Pattern-Based Panels Divided Surfaces? If so, this may explain the overlap. Is it 2" Imperial? If so, it's a known issue since 2014.

You know, pictures would help us visualize what you are doing so we could better advise you. You can even post your file here if you like.

If this is the object in Fusion before importing it into Revit. What can I do to end up with opening, the way we talked above is to apply wall but it will select the entire face, I don't want the glazing to cover all the face (perhaps a portion from multiple faces).

I tried to change the division of the faces; so when I import the object into Revit I just apply whether concrete or glass on the faces that are already drawn.

You have to divide the form to different faces in Fusion prior to import in Revit so that you can create different walls-by-faces to those faces.

I thought you already exported from Fushion 360 and imported into a Revit Project Massing environment??? That's the procedure. Then Revit will create a Mass Form from it onto which you can place Walls or Roof by Mass Face. With regards to placing opening, why don't you build them into the Revit Walls and Roofs. Why is it necessary to build them into the Mass Form?
