1st Floor Walls are showing up on 2nd floor floorplan

I am having an issue with my floor 1 walls showing up grayed out on the floor 2 floorplan. I have checked that the top constraints for the walls are "up to level: Level 2," and have added a floor to level 2. I have also checked the view range for level 2, and it does not extend down to level 1. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening, and how to hide these walls on level 2?

Change the view's Underlay to None.

Check your view range and turn off underlay.

Thanks but even with no underlay, some of the walls are showing up??

Even when I remove underlay 1st floor is not only seen, but it also won't let me draw in the area because level 1 is being affected by what I do on level 2.

Double-check that your view range is above the lower walls (as seen in first image).

Make sure the base of your wall doesn't cut into the top of your lower wall.

When you draw a wall on the second floor what is the base offset and base constraint?

That is what I am trying to figure out. It is first time using Revit. I used autocad mostly for small items and basic 2D chemical engineering related projects. My tutor told me they will help me becuase I set up my whole properties layout wrong at the beginning. Thank you.
