Wall/Column/Material

Hi

I created a new project, I installed columns 20*60cm, and I locked it on grids. When I installed the wall and connected it to a column, the material of the wall automatically added to the column. (column 1 only)

Few notes:

The wall has a brick material on 1 side, when the column has the same material on 2 sides of 60cm.

The material of column still exist even id I stretched the wall away.

If I replaced the existing column with a new one, the material will shows up again on the new column.

I have this problem on both Architectural and Structural column

The material of column is set to By Category.

I tried to use the Match Properties Tools, I can click on column 2 to select. But I can't click on column 1, the tool doesn't recognize the column 1, it's like if it doesn't exist.

Architectural columns are designed to take on the materials of what they are attached to. Like if you want to create a brick pillar in a wall without having to add more walls to it.

If you use structural column, it will have automatically the same material of wall attached to it. If you use an architectural column, you will be able to apply a different material to the wall and column
